Ming Yang unveils recyclable 110-m blade
Recyclable carbon fibre design advances Ming Yang’s sustainable blade technology

Ming Yang Smart Energy has rolled out the MySE23X, described as the world’s first fully recyclable carbon fibre wind turbine blade.

The blade exceeds 110 metres in length and optimises degradation conditions while expanding the recyclable material system, Ming Yang said.

Ming Yang added that the design uses ambient temperature and pressure degradation technology that enables chemical separation of composite materials under mild conditions with a specific degradation solution.

The company said that a recyclable carbon fibre pultruded panel provides high-strength, lightweight support while allowing complete recycling of the carbon fibre.

It stated that the milestone marks a quantum leap in materials science and reinforces Ming Yang’s ESG commitment to a sustainable wind energy value chain.

The company added that it aims to deliver future-oriented sustainable energy system solutions and to help lead the industry toward a circular, renewable and carbon-neutral future.
