Walker Subsea Engineering is based in the Swans Centre for Innovation, Wallsend. We provide engineering services for offshore construction projects and conduct innovation projects for the advancement of subsea technology.
Our team comprises engineers with experience in the design of electric motors, subsea trenching tractors, ship equipment and launch and recovery systems.
We produce detail designs, calculations and operational support. Our clients have diverse backgrounds, and we support in them in a range of positions:

> mobilisation of equipment to ships including project management & site supervision

We use the latest in 3D CAD and analysis software to produce detailed design and structural verification reports, demonstrating compliance with legislative, structural and marine classification society codes.

We have conducted cable pull-in analysis scopes for several high profile clients, including assessment of cable load throughout product life cycle and evaluating equipment requirements.
For beach landing we evaluate ground conditions and calculate pile requirements for pull-in equipment (winches).
We have a strong background in the design of mission equipment for offshore wind projects. This includes subsea trenching tractors & ploughs, cable lay equipment and winches.
